My knowledge of Kentucky goes something like this "College roommate, horse race and bourbon" beyond that the state remained a bit of a mystery to me. In the planning for my trip south to visit my best friend in Nashville I decided it was only logical I make a stop in Louisville, my bus was going there anyway, mine-as-well get off. I booked my ticket, found a seemingly friendly Couchsurfing host and that's about where my plans ended, I trusted I'd figure the rest out after I arrived. My host Tim picked me up from the Greyhound station on his way back from a day at the lake (I wish I could've joined), sunburn included. I could tell immediately that I would get along with Tim, energetic and full of life he was a good choice for someone to introduce me to Louisville.

North AmericaKENTUCKYI truly never thought I'd have a reason to visit Kentucky, and to be fair I didn't, but it happened and I'm not mad about it. ArchivesCategories |
